Our surroundings are rich in places where you can enjoy water in many forms, from natural thermal springs in a peaceful setting to modern water parks.

Thermal Pond in Kalameny
A picturesque pond with thermal water emerging from an artificial well. The water temperature reaches a pleasant 33 °C (91 °F), making it suitable for swimming even in cooler months. The pond is surrounded by a grassy area beneath a spruce forest, perfect for relaxation and rest. It is approximately a 15-minute drive from Marina Liptov.
Spa Village of Lúčky
This spa village is worth visiting for several reasons. First is the beautiful Lúčky Waterfall, which provides an easy break and a perfect photo opportunity. Adventurers can even swim in the waterfall at their own risk.
Of course, a visit to the spa itself and its Aqua-Vital Park is a must. The park is open to tourists and regular visitors, allowing you to enjoy bathing in the healing mineral springs. Lúčky is approximately a 14-minute drive from Marina Liptov.
Water Parks – Bešeňová and Tatralandia
Bešeňová Water Park is only 6 minutes from the resort and offers a wide range of year-round activities for both children and adults. You can combine your visit to the water park with exploring the colorful natural wonder of the Bešeňová travertines. Mineral water continuously flows over the cascades, giving them a beautiful shine. The travertines are located in the northern part of the village.
Tatralandia, the largest aquapark in Slovakia, hardly needs an introduction. It features numerous pools, slides, and wellness zones. The park is divided into several themed areas, ensuring fun for all age groups. It is just a 10-minute drive from Marina Liptov.

This beach is just a short 5-minute drive from us. You can also combine the trip with a cycling tour, or reach it directly by boat, kayak, or paddleboard from our marina. The pebble beach is perfect for enjoying hot summer days or taking a scenic walk with beautiful views during the winter season.
Liptovský Mikuláš City Beach
The newly built beach, officially opened in summer 2025, offers a landscaped area of over 5,000 m². You’ll find a beach volleyball court, a mobile snack bar, changing rooms, and dry toilets. You can also reach the beach in a unique way — take a full-day trip by kayak or paddleboard, starting directly from our resort and traveling there by water.
Hrabovo Reservoir
Hrabovo Reservoir is a popular recreational spot on the outskirts of Ružomberok, nestled directly beneath the slopes of the Veľká Fatra mountains. The calm water is surrounded by forests, creating an ideal environment for relaxation, swimming, or picnicking. In summer, you can cool off at the natural swimming area, try boating, or go paddleboarding. The reservoir area also features grassy spaces for lounging, snack bars, and a playground for children.
Just a few steps from the lake is the base station for the Malinô Brdo cable car, offering stunning views of Liptov and additional opportunities for hiking and cycling.
The reservoir is approximately a 30-minute drive from Marina Liptov.
